About Reverend Pamela

Raised Episcopalian, ethnically Jewish and aficionado of Buddhism and the Tao, I have pondered our existence since childhood using a number of different lenses. After I lost my husband in 2023, I had ample time to soul search and, after the 2024 US elections, had an epiphany of sorts and understood my Calling. As an ordained minister and prospective interfaith chaplain, I don’t care what label you attribute to a higher power…or if you think no higher power exists. If you believe the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few, no matter whether you pray or to whom, you’re part of the greater good. For millennia religious leaders have wielded power and authority over believers. Many, if not most, of them pay lip service to our beliefs because those leaders only want the tangible benefits. It’s time, it’s beyond time, to reclaim our faith from the talons of organized religion.
